Y helo thar~!

I've been bored and neglecting this thing, so I figured I'd post a bit of what's been keeping me so occupied (that isn't school or story-related, since there's nothing much to say on that front >_<). That is, THE SIMS 3!

I make my game fun by sticking myself and my IRL friends in with various Dynasty/Samurai Warriors, Soul Calibur, ect., characters. And the end result is usually a lot of fun. So, I'll show off some scenes from my game, as well as provide captioning that you may or may not find amusing.

I have two game saves; one is Jen World, where Jen (me!) and all the DW/SW/random characters live, and my friends and family, blah blah blah.

Two is Ling Tong the Gold Digger; Ling Tong's lifetime wish is to be a Gold Digger, which means marry some rich chick, and once she dies, take all her money. Of course, this wouldn't be any fun if the rich chick in question was someone I actually like, so insert-our-least-favorite-bitchy-Princess-from-Wu here...



*clears throat loudly* Ahem.

Y helo thar, people who are probably as bored as I am (or more bored, considering I'm the one writing and you're the one reading... ah whatever)!

That's a toughie. It depends on the annoying; like, if the person's mere presence annoys me, I probably won't say anything (since I don't want anything to do with them). If they're a personal irritation, I'd delight in informing them (in a mean way). Like, "Are you saving that for later, or something?"

Just kidding, that was the only interesting title I could think of. If there was (were) naked Ling Tong(s) in the vicinity, do you really think I'd be sitting here? :D /perv

I'm typing this whole entry up in HTML just so I can get back in the hang of it. I've gotten rusty with html and CSS; I used to be able to write pages of it, and now I'm rusty!! I can still edit it, thankfully, but that's about it.

Arrgh, drives me crazy when I have a skill but then I get lazy and stop doing it. Well, one of these days I'll get my ass to the library and pick up the old HTML books I used to slave over in my younger days, and then I'll get my act back together again. :D

I don't think I've watched so much TV in months. Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, So You Think You Can Dance, and now Glee! I'm loving Hell's Kitchen this season; Top Chef, I originally was blegh about, but it quickly improved. :D Yay. And Glee is too much <3 for words! So yay for fall TV.

Uhh, what was I going to say? Yeah, aside from working on my previously-pimped Warriors Orochi themed story (if you want to see it, I have some of it in a previous entry) and the messed-up Sun Ce/Da Qiao story (also posted below, or something), I've been writing a lot of adult stuff. Yeah. XD It comes easily! I'm such a pervert! It'll come in handy so it's good to practice with--it's seriously jokey. Like, nothing serious.

I think it's fun to laugh at bad lemons, whether they be just terrible or so overly dramatic it makes me laugh. I'm not about to contribute to the bad lemon pile, so yeah. More practice!

And now that you're all silently judging me your heads (all three of you ;D), might as well say something intelligent and insightful. But I can't think of anything. Well, whatever.

I think Koei purposely poked me in the eye by giving me shirtless Ling Tong in DW6:Strikeforce. The game where you give me shirtless Ling Tong is the game I can't play. Dammit, Koei! Strikeforce does look pretty cool, Ling Tong's pectorals aside, about time Koei does something different! :D

I also got some cool ideas in my head for alternate costumes for the DW crew (well, the ones I like, at least), and once my artistic skill decides it wants to exist I'll try drawing 'em. :D Things always look/sound better in my head than they do on paper, so we'll see how well this one turns out...

And for the regularly scheduled 'Story Pimpage of the Entry', here's a deliberate attempt to coax some of you to read my recent DW story that is sapping all my creative energies, Dynasty Warriors College.

It is as it sounds; the DW/SW gang is in college, an alternate universe one. I basically got so bored of all the crappy DW College stories that muck up the FF.net front page that I said, "Hey, if these idiots can do a crappy one, I can do one that'll blow theirs out of the water! /ego" And so I did. It's basically--you guessed it, Ling Tong, Gan Ning, and Sun Ce, and their interactions with the other DW/SW characters.

Overlord, I'm afraid to say, is not my best work. At all. The later chapters are alright, but it was some of my early getting-back-into-the-DW-fandom work (I will never disclose my actual original DW stories from when I was like fourteen, oh god were they horrible), and therefore not my best.

Well, that's about it for my random blathering of the day. I'm working on a couple one-shots, of course, them being, of course, about Ling Tong. Ling Tong is awesome. :3 There's also a new DW/SW Sims community, if you play DW/SW Sims, go check it out! (And download my Sim Sun Family while you're at it! :D)

Best way I can think to describe it XD Other than calling it 'Fuckfest', of course, which isn't an accurate description but it's fun to say :D

I've been working big-time on both my untitled Warriors Orochi story and a Dynasty Warriors story (that isn't Overlord or Dynasty Warriors College, hooray).

Lately I get the feeling that the stuff I write is childish which is probably why I get so many tween reviews ('good wurk u rock!!!!!' and they're the authors of the schlock OC stories that densely populate fanfiction.net). Anyway, I've decided to up the maturity of my stuff.

That makes it more fun, anyway 8D This story is basically an alternate reality version of Wu based around the question 'what if Sun Ce didn't love Da Qiao, and Zhou Yu didn't love Xiao Qiao?' I basically mess with all the relationships and the friendships. Kind of a romance story, kind of a story about all the lust and the psychological stuff--it'll be cool. Ling Tong, Gan Ning and the rest of Wu will all be around, of course, getting themselves mixed into the big crazy mess.

Sheesh it's been too long since I wrote something on here!

Um, anyway, what's new with me--

Still no job, and no school, which means I'm basically doing nothing all day, aside from doing a local university radio show (which is a crapload of fun!). That's a bittersweet 'woohoo' if I've ever given one.

What I'm working on story-wise... basically three big stories, Overlord, Orochi!fic, and the Wu story which I need to either think of a title (Overlord) or a nickname (Orochi!fic). It will be awesome, I can guarantee that.

Orochi!fic is coming along quite spendidly, if I do say so myself :]

What else... what annoys everyone the most, not having any idea what to write, or having about thirty ideas of what to write and having no clue how to phrase it/get it on paper/keyboard? I think more of the latter, since I come up with some great idea and then forget the whole thing. Joy.

That's about it for me; I might consider re-titling "Overlord" as "Sun Ce/Zhou Yu yaoi slash buttsecks" in a desperate attempt to get some more attention, but... I have my dignity, I guess? XD

I've been bored, and slacking, so here's a little part of the new Warriors Orochi-themed story I'm working on~

Actually, the title is a bit misleading. I'm broke, but my woes certainly could be much worse. I'm no longer in debt and I wasn't dropped from my classes due to financial problems, which I assumed.

Aside from that, I've been mulling over employment options, snarking about American Idol over at IMDb, and slowly updating my stories over at Fanfiction.net.

I'm on my wits end to Fanfiction.net. It's like high school again. Write the same thing as everyone else, or you get three reviews.

 

And Nick Mitchell/Normund Gentle was ROBBED. I hate American Idol.

Oh, how I hate it. It's not the fact that I don't HAVE a Valentine that makes me hate this "holiday". It's the commercialization that drives me crazy, with the obnoxious "HE WENT TO JARED!" ads and the insulting Vermont Teddy Bear ads. Sheesh.

Another reason that makes me hate this holiday (this reason has nothing to do with St. Valentine, it just makes me mad XD) is we had to put my beautiful German Shepherd dog named Dax down on Valentine's Day 2008.

I wrote this story to counter all the annoying Ling Tong cliches in fanfiction; he's too whiny, too emo, ect., ect. Since I love Ling Tong, I decided to write a story in which I mock him mercilessly. <3

Ling Tong, I love you, I really do; but you make it too easy. :D
